No, you will feel some stimulation upon contact with the tip but it does not sting, burn or hurt. There is a toning dial on the end of the DermaWand. We advise that you initially start at the lowest setting and increase the setting as you get comfortable using the device. It is also always a good idea to first try DermaWand on the back of your hand to get used to the sensation.
- Do not use DermaWand if you suffer from rosacea or excessive broken capillaries.
- Do not use DermaWand if you have a pacemaker or other electrical medical device. If you are not sure, consult your physician.
- If you are pregnant, or if you suspect that you are pregnant, we recommend you postpone use of your DermaWand.
